PHILOSOPHY: To expose players to the game of soccer, so they can develop a love of the game, good sportsmanship, and learn the skills of the game. All this is done through a fun based and age appropriate activities approach. Each grade level will have its own co-ed team.

PRACTICE:  Tuesdays only; 4:30 – 6:00PM (starting on 9/2). Please do not drop off players until a coach is at the field and pick-up promptly so the coach can go home also. At this age group, all play is coed and in house, no travel.

EQUIPMENT:  All players MUST wear shin guards to play. Soccer cleats are optional, sneakers will do.

RAIN POLICY: Practice will be canceled for rain. An announcement will be made at Flood Brook School before dismissal. Surprisingly the weather often does change between the 2:00 Flood Brook decision and the actual start of practice - if practice was canceled at school, it's STILL OFF; and if rain has started between the 2 times, practice IS CANCELED. If a thunderstorm comes in while children are playing, Please go to the field to pick them up immediately.

Also, please remember that you know your child and his/her tolerance for different weather situations.  While we hope that you will make every effort possible to have your child at practice, if you feel the weather conditions are not appropriate for your child, please feel free to make your own decision about practice.
